Little Miss Faith Anne

Welcome to Faith Anne's Love blog!  If you know me even just a little you are probably aware that I am a warrior and advocate for a very special little man, Mick.  I have advocated for him since May 2013 and will continue to do so until he's the arms of his forever family safely and sound.  But I have come to realize that I have a lot of love to give and there are 147 million orphans in the world that need a voice to help save their precious lives.  I have a voice that is capable of helping these orphans.   That is why I see absolutely no harm in beginning to advocate for a second beautiful child with special needs.

Introducing to you little miss Faith Anne...

Girl, born January 2013
Down syndrome, ASD, crossed eyes

Her medical is good; ASD not a problem, it is closing on its own. Both her eyes are crossed – may be from lack of stimulation, or low muscle tone. The back of her head is flat, from lying down so much. She has extremely low tone, and cannot hold her head up yet, or sit up or turn over. She eats well, and they say she sleeps well. She drinks from a bottle and they try to get her to eat from a spoon/cup (a little developmentally early, but what they do with all the kids). She doesn’t cry much. Mom had very low amniotic fluid and Faith could have been born with Hypoxia (lack of oxygen) in late third trimester and birth. No complications recorded at birth (born at 38 weeks).
Faith is said to be healthy but has had some colds and bronchitis several times. She was really congested when we were there. The orphanage she is at is small but everyone is very friendly. They said less than 30 kids were at the baby house in this city. The building was nice and caregivers and nurses seemed to care.

She's the description of perfection in God's eyes and mine.   I've fallen deeply in love with this little angel.  She deserves a forever family and FAST.

I am extremely excited to advocate and pray daily for this little diamond.  I have faith in God that He has a wonderful family in store for her.   She's worth so much more than what she's been given.
